Founded in 1841, Notts CCC is one of the eighteen first-class county clubs within England & Wales and is recognised as one of the most prestigious and successful counties in English cricket history. Throughout its rich history, the club has secured numerous domestic honours, including multiple County Championship titles, while producing some of the game’s most iconic players. Notable cricketers that have represented Notts CCC include English legends Harold Larwood, Stuart Broad and Derek Randall. Overseas stars to have featured for the club include Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Richard Hadlee and the late Clive Rice. Some of cricket’s greatest all-rounders who led the club towards a double in the late 80s.

Notts CCC hosts its home fixtures at the historic Trent Bridge, widely regarded as one of the premier cricket venues in the world. Established in 1838, Trent Bridge has become synonymous with international cricket, regularly hosting Test matches, One-Day Internationals and ICC tournament fixtures. Renowned for its iconic pavilion, electric atmosphere and rich heritage, the venue remains one of the most recognisable grounds in global cricket.

Notts CCC played its inaugural first-class match in 1841 and was formally admitted into the County Championship in 1890.
